Richard John Owens – President, Founder & CEO
The man, the myth, the legend himself! Richard’s story is a long one, but suffice it to say that he’s got years of roofing experience, both on the grind and behind the desk. Formerly a drywall installer in Jamestown, NY, Richard took his first basic labor position in St. Petersburg, FL in 1979. With the promise of one extra dollar per hour to try his hand at roofing instead of drywalling, he started down the path to becoming a licensed roofer. Richard’s vision for RJ Owens Roofing came to life in 1989, and he’s been serving the St. Petersburg community ever since.
Sandy – Office Manager
Sandy has been an integral part of our team and a dear family friend for more than a decade. She brings both a friendly face and also a wealth of experience and knowledge to the administrative and customer service department of RJ Owens Roofing.
Jon – General Manager
Jon has been climbing the company ranks at RJ Owens Roofing since 1999. He’s a St. Petersburg native who began roofing locally in 1987. His background includes well over a decade of experience as a head foreman in commercial and residential roofing. Now, he’s our trusted general manager with a solid track record of professional roofing and proven organizational talents.
